we have to drill and develop every drop of crude just to bridge the gap between now and the future. sooner we get started on a decent energy policy, the better.What do you think about this topic? ';America should develop more oil reserves';?
We have more untapped reserves than OPEC has in all of it's resources,


so why haven't we drilled them?


We have had laws restricting drilling in the Yellowstone Park region, an area that could provide enough oil and natural gas to last us with all of the predicted growth in place about 40 yrs.





What sort of technology could be invented in 40 yrs?
The truth is that if we drill all the oil we can find here, the entire amount alone (without foreign oil) would last about 10 years. Fossil fuels are not renewable.
Think we have to try to do anything to decrease our dependency on oil. We rely to much on others
