Petroleum.





So the Bush administration was left with a deficit in the


reserves at the beginning.

Oil prices have experienced price increases by some 300% + since Bush took office.

A president can tap the reserves to help lower the price of gas, not the price per barrel of oil.


Bush is the first president in the History of the US to refuse to open the reserves to drop gas prices. Yet, Bush freely loans out of the reserves to his oil company cronies. So, yes, Americans can blame Bush for the gas prices because he could do something but, oil companies profits take precedence over the American people.
$1/ gal; is a lot cheaper than $3.50/ gal
