The oil reserve is becoming empty in 20 ~ 30 years, how human civilization survive without oil?

Oil is used in almost in everywhere, but is is becoming empty. Then, the car cannot move, airplane cannot fly, power no more. Does this mean, we are going backward to the old time when there was no oil?The oil reserve is becoming empty in 20 ~ 30 years, how human civilization survive without oil?
A huge oil deposit has been discovered in Colorado that is supposed to be more than in all of the middle east. Besides that fact, France in manufacturing cars that run on compressed air. Hopefully, the U.S. will have them as well at some point. The oil reserve is becoming empty in 20 ~ 30 years, how human civilization survive without oil?
Oh, come on! We will not suddenly being thrown back to an age of far more primitive time. There is always something to do to help us survive what ever. Electric cars are improving daily and will save tons of oil.
According to my calculations correctly all 'em death people burried less than or equal to 200yrs. ago should have graduately turn in to good fosil oil by 20-30 yrs. from now for continue drilling.
Life as we know it will definitely change. Ethanol is not a good option, because it will still take oil to run tractors, and grow the stuff anyway, same thing with other inventions,it would take energy to mass produce them. You should watch a doc. called ';the end of suburbia';you can probably google it. It is kind of depressing though. IN 1978 it is said that United States oil reserves hit thier peak, now experts say the world has hiit its peak.
Necessity is the mother of invention. We'll figure something out, how hard is it to make 4-8 pistons move up and down without gasoline? There are ways if we get creative.
Well, life as you know it will not be the same. We

could even live as the Amish do now (no cars, no

electricity, no fancy electronic equipment).
Yeah, I heard we will be out of oil in 20 years too.

In 1978.
There is other ways to get oil in the United States. You can make gas from corn, yes we may be proud to pick up some of the old days ideas. We have been use to luxury most of our life. We wouldn't be able to survive without a lot of the stuff we take for granite. Old saying you never miss the water until the well runs dry. Think about us living without city water, no electric, no air condition, cooking on wood , no TV, washing your clothes in the creek, setting by candle light. I could go on and on.queen bee
I remember twenty years ago hearing the same thing. I think oil will definitely run out, but in the next thirty years, no.
Think of all the scrap metal that will become available! Solar, wind and hydro electric will fill some of the gap, and ethanol is also a contender along with oil shale to replace oil. The bigger problem for the whole world concerns the products made from oil from plastics to pharmaceuticals and a whole lot more. Is it possible that by the time oil runs out we will have already darkened the skies and destroyed the ozone layer and we will all fry like fish in a greased pan?
No it's not.
The term ';fossil fuel'; may be a misnomer. Some scientists now believe that some oil is directly produced through geological process rather than as a consequence of dead biomass being exposed to geological processes.

Seems that the Earth is probably producing oil even today.

That does not bode well for the Global Warming idiots...er advocates. It's likely they鈥檒l still be chasing their tails well through the next ice age (and yes, Al Gore will still be living in his giant mansion).
yes
hi...if you have seen mad max...you may not think it so bizzare
Ethanol, look it up.
