Now that we know McCain was absent for the oil reserve vote?

How did Obama %26amp; Hillary vote????Now that we know McCain was absent for the oil reserve vote?
Only an ignorant person would think it would save a mere 5 cents a gallon. That opinion was voiced by President Bush, who does NOT want this to go through.

Going back into the 1970's, any time a US president even threatened to do this, the price dropped drastically.

--- Only Senator Wayne Allard, a Colorado Republican who is not seeking re-election, voted against the measure, which took the form of an amendment to a flood insurance bill that was approved by a vote of 92 to 6. (NY Times)Now that we know McCain was absent for the oil reserve vote?
the oil reserve vote is a joke. if they stopped stockpiling oil and released that 70,000 barrels into the market, it would save 5 cents a gallon, even less than the summer holiday tax. drill or cut back, those are the only two immediate options.
what vote are you referring to?, the McConnell amendment, if so McCain was there and voted aye, the other two voted no, as did most of the rest of your favored democrats, effectively killing the bill, if you mean the Reid amendment, which is meant to force the president to curtail filling the reserve, and is worthless without the McConnell amendment
