Saskatchewan OilBoom! Where? Which companies? Where to invest in a house there? Biggest oil reserves in Sask?

I currently own a house in Alberta, but since the new royalty regime kicks in in January 09 I am wondering if now is the time to get out...in case oil prices stay at its current level. Where is a good town/city to buy in Saskatchewan right now..and what is the Sask governments royalty structure?? Anyone know? I need at least a midsize city..preferrably one within driving distance to a good college or university. Any suggestions, any ideas on a good company to work for in Sask? Thanks in advance. :)Saskatchewan OilBoom! Where? Which companies? Where to invest in a house there? Biggest oil reserves in Sask?
The huge play is the Bakken, in Southeast Sask. Do a Google search for more companies.

Not sure about the royalty structure but the Conservatives, in power for a year, have pledged to keep it the same as it is now. They are generally seen as oil friendly.

Crescent Point Energy has a good reputation (based in Calgary, but working in the Bakken.)

Estevan real estate is already hot, as are most towns in the region, but it's about 200 kms from Regina.

Oil prices are anyone's guess. I've heard sources saying the low is anywhere from $25 to $50. Of course that would be a dip, but we're in a crazy environment right now.

Good luck.
