Now why isnt america exlploiting it coz saudis are taxing a heck at our gas pumps??I've heard than USA has unexploited oil reserves in ALASKA...?
The US has huge unexploited oil reserves in Alaska.Apart from the opposition from the environmentalists,the main reason for America not drawing on its oil reserves is that with their


gas guzzlers using up oil like there is no tomorrow,they want to exhaust the world


supply so that they would have an advantage over the rest of the world when the supplies


become a trickle.Why do you think Iraq was invaded?Saddam and his non existent WMD

Its done on purpose my friend. They have the enviornmento people watching it like crazy so we cant drill there and sustain ourselves. Its all about big money and big reliance and expending all our money to bankrupt us. The technology people love so much exists today to drill oil in alaska and not harm it. but they dont.
They also have many in the gulf of Mexico, and along the East cost as well, and they would be much easier to access and develop along with being much less expensive to recover the oil from. Why risk destroying pristine areas in Alaska?
yeah, and it better stay that way. p.s. it not completly the saudis that are gouging us, its also the falling value of the dollar among many other things.
Because it isn't worth it. The oil there won't be available for 10 years if development started today, and there is only enough left to supply the US for 6 months at most.
