Venezuela is leading the way for an autonomous South America. US oil companies are trying to steal what rightfully belongs to the people of Venezuela. Chavez is an inspiration to all those countries which are oppressed by US imperialism.
And since the oil reserves are what the war is over, i would think that attacking them would not bebeneficial to your greedy cause.
That little dictator will sink on his own.
