During the first few years of his first term, he said we didn't need to be increasing our oil reserves, and now he suddenly he says we need to? Very strange indeed. I got a kick out of the lets reduce fule consumption by 20%. Who does he think he's kidding. It baffles me. On one hand he says we need to develop alternative energy sources and then on the other he says we need to ';secure'; dependable sources of energy, which I interpreted as Iraq and Iran, and double the strategic oil reserve. Me thinks he speaks with forked tongue.
Wake up! We are IN WW III. It started when Iranians captured our embassy %26amp; held our people hostage. It's just in the last 5+ years that we've been fighting back.
Listen whether any of you want to deal with it or not the mid-east is a source of a lot of the worlds oil and it is unstable. The whole place is going to go apeshit very soon and we are going to need oil. No amount of alternative fuel can meet our needs. We are going down the same road with the mid-east as we have Social Security and Bush is the only one trying to do anything about it.





The world scene is going to change drastically over the next twenty years and it ain't going to be for the better and by then it will be to late for all of you to change your minds.
It is just another ploy to keep the price of oil high so that when he is returned back to the public life'; without much fanfare'; he can re-open his vast oil properties and get rich all over again. America is great isn't it.
