Will the U.S.A. stay in Iraq until their oil reserves are gone;or will we let them be with the help of technol

ogy. Thanks so much for your honest and detailed answer...It is up to us to change the world for the better,by any means, regardless of the situation, for we are part of this almighty nation...Tom Science 4Will the U.S.A. stay in Iraq until their oil reserves are gone;or will we let them be with the help of technol
It's not about the oil, Tom - if it were, why did gas prices soar so high? And if it was really all about the oil, why didn't they just open ANWR, as the vast majority of Alaskans want? Will the U.S.A. stay in Iraq until their oil reserves are gone;or will we let them be with the help of technol
The war is not, repeat NOT about oil. Bush plans to stay untill things are stable there.
No question about it, oil is part of the problem, however, Iran is a bigger problem and if do not take a stand against the schmuck who is president of Iran we are doomed. He wants to be numero uno in the middle east and it will eventually come down to killing the bastard.
Thanks for the keen insight. .....And all this time, I thought the insurgents were targeting the oil industry of Iraq (blowing pipelines and refining capacity) so the governement would have trouble financing the rebuilding of the country and the advancement of an alternative form of rule.

Only an uninformed fool believes that we are in Iraq for the country's natural resources (oil being #1).

Don't be naive and uninformed.
