Oil Reserves & Plastics?

What will we do for plastics, acrylic, nylon etc. when the oil has run out?Oil Reserves %26amp; Plastics?
Polymeric materials can be derived from renewable sources, such as sugar cane. Such as PLLA. These are popular in pharmaceutical and packaging solutions becuase they are biodegradable.

Not in very wide commercial use much - still need further development. They usually need filled with some other polymer to boost there properties, such as ABS - oh, bugger that derived from oil.

Oh, well - better make more things out wood and wool.Oil Reserves %26amp; Plastics?
Ok, but what will we do when the coal has run out?
SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECYCLING EVERYTHING FROM THE BEGINNING,NO OIL ,LOST JOBS,NO PLASTICS ,START DIGGING UP THE LANDFILLS
The oil isn;t going to run out.. and if it does they can make oil synthetically from coal.
Well we hope we can find an alternative to oil but if not we will have to survive without them, infact I can see an upside to less enviromentally unfriendly products
A lot of plastics used now are made from recycled material
