So its now OK for Senator Obama to release the oil reserves..another flip flop..What's next?

Tell you what, if you don't like it, then just don't use it.

But since it's what Republicans want, it can't be a good idea. Can it?So its now OK for Senator Obama to release the oil reserves..another flip flop..What's next?
He's flip-flopped on reparations.

He's flip-flopped on strategic oil reserves.

He's flip-flopped on off shore drilling.

He's flip-flopped on the war in Iraq.

Oh...wait. I forgot. He's a Democrat. According to the mainstream media, he's not flip-flopping. He's ';changing positions';.So its now OK for Senator Obama to release the oil reserves..another flip flop..What's next?
Daniel Webster, the leading American stateman in the late 19th century and Secretary of State, once said ';Inconsistencies of opinion, arising from changes of circumstances, are often justifiable.';

My point being: while I myself do not support offshore drilling, Mr. Obama may have decided that the circumstances have changed enough to make a change of opinion justifiable.

Flipflopping is irrelevant. It is an epithet in politics. Humankind is only great because it has changed its collective mind when near the brink of disaster. Should we not applaud him for coming to what may be the right conclusion? Why should he bullheadedly charge forth in untruth?

I would encourage any who view a change of opinion to be a bad thing to pull their heads from the sand and realize it is a very human and very American thing to do.
It's funny. I'm okay with someone changing their position as facts change. But Obama changed his when the price has actually dropped! In early July he said under no circumstances. Today with gas a full 50 cents cheaper (KC, MO area) he reverses. That is pure politics!
Flip flop is a word left over from the last election. It means nothing.

When a person learns more about a subject or looks at it from a

different perspective, he/she can change their mind.

I have changed my belief/opinion on many things in my life.
Yes, and who would have thought a staunch liberal would consider drilling for oil.

I believe all of Obama's flip-flopping is killing him in the polls.

At this point, Obama supporters should just vote for the real deal, John McCain. lol
Health care is going to be his next flip flop. If he proposes the taxes he will need for it....... he will literaly have a revolution on his hands even from the ';Blue Collar'; Dems.
It isn't good to be always flip flopping because no one knows what you really think or know. I wonder if any of you understand the oil reserves reason for being?
Another Obama trait, tell the people what they wanna hear... He is watching his poll #s Sliiiiiiide...
Bush would have been weel served if he would have flip-flopped on some issues instead of just folowing the party line
Yes, next is the presidency
Senator McCain did the same flip flop. It was being discussed on TV today.
He continues to talk about what ';HE'; will do; he can't do jack without Congress...he'll just blame them when his so-called plans fail.
I heard he was changing his name to john smith
