Congress is waiting for Bush to leave and a Democrat to get in so that everyone will be complementing the Dem's who virtually did nothing and everyone will think only bad things about the republicans who only want Americans to keep their rights while the Dem's are trying to take all our rights away from us and they could have big government we will become their slaves and work our asses off to pay taxes so they can get 12 more new mansions while the poor stay poor the rich get richer and those who actually pay taxes become poor.
Because there is only about 40 days of oil there. It would be a temporary solution at best. But think about when we have a national disaster like Katrina and all the reserves are gone. What will we do this time? I guess you could blame it on Bush like dems do with everything else.
We need to sustain at least a little for the future.
